New Jersey Symphony Chamber Series (with pre-concert Young Friends Event)

Concert Location Update:

Due to excessive heat and the potential for thunderstorms, the Music of Bollywood concert this evening will take place indoors at the Brunswick Center, 189 Brunswick Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Street parking is available around the Brunswick Center.

Venue doors will open at 6 pm. Henna tattoos will be available inside. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed inside. Chairs will be provided.

Our pre-concert Young Professionals happy hour at Hamilton Pork will go on as planned starting at 5 pm.

Rhythm and dance are on the musical menu for this performance as the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players and featured guest artists perform works from India’s popular film genre, plus original works for string quartet by beloved Bollywood composer Pyarelal Sharma. Come sing, clap and dance along in our summer celebration of Bollywood.

Pre-concert henna station opens at 6 pm. Talented henna artists will create stunning hand designs for kids and adults, too. Come early and stop by the station!
