Concert Information
Kodály’s Dances capture the irresistible rhythms of Hungarian folk music, while Tchaikovsky finds inspiration in a traditional melody from the Ukraine. Schumann conceived his Fourth as a portrait of his wife, Clara; it swings with propulsive rhythms and sings with poignant melodies.
