It’s a season of stories in music at the NJSO, and you can get in on the fun, too! Listen in wonder as some of your favorite stories are told through music, including Tchaikovsky’s enchanted The Nutcracker and magical Swan Lake, romantic Romeo and Juliet and even the tale of your favorite boy wizard, Harry Potter!
Alice McLerran’s timeless story The Mountain That Loved a Bird and Eric Carle’s gorgeous illustrations are given new life by Caroline Shaw’s music, which captures all the wonder, sadness and joy of an unlikely friendship that spans generations.
NJSO Family concerts are held in Victoria Theater at NJPAC in Newark, so the kids in your life can sit closer to the action!
