Artist-in-Residence Daniil Trifonov—“the most astounding pianist of our age” (The Times)—returns for his second week this season with a brand new concerto written for him by a musical polymath—DJ and composer Mason Bates. Xian Zhang specializes in Tchaikovsky’s singing line, digging deep into the sorrow and joy that made his music utterly unique.
