Listen: WWFM features Cone Institute, with web extras

Listen to a webcast of WWFM’s July 23 “A Tempo” program featuring an inside look at the third-annual NJSO Edward T. Cone Composition Institute. Hear the original broadcast, as well as host Rachel Katz’s extended interviews with the four Institute composers, Institute Director Steven Mackey and guest conductor David Robertson.

At the Institute, which took place July 11–16 at Princeton University, four emerging composers enjoyed an immersive week of workshops, rehearsals and sessions with industry leaders, culminating with a live performance of the composers’ music alongside Mackey’s Turn the Key.
