Musicians of the New Jersey Symphony and Kulture Kool wow an enthusiastic crowd with a performance of traditional Indian music
Aug 7, 2024
Musicians of the New Jersey Symphony and Kulture Kool did not disappoint as they performed traditional Indian music to an enthusiastic crowd at the largest Hindu temple in the United States, the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville. Vashti Harris of Mosaic was there to review the performance, and even spoke to a few attendees about what excited them about it.
Each song and performance were so good, and what I liked was the diversity in the performances itself, like the sitar, the symphony, and then there was Kathak ... I am a student of music myself, and I have been learning for the pass 18 years studying Hindustani classical music, so this whole thing really excited me a lot.
