The New York Times writes:

The New Jersey Symphony will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech in its opening concert, featuring Duke Ellington’s “Three Black Kings” and “New World A-Comin’.” It will give the first performance of a work commissioned from Geri Allen, and it will offer Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World,” with spirituals performed between movements.
