NJSO garners People’s Choice Award after fan vote

The results are in for the sixth annual JerseyArts.com People’s Choice Awards, and thanks to you, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra garnered the award for “Favorite Symphony/Orchestra.”

Nearly 12,000 fans voted to determine all award winners; we congratulate our fellow arts organizations and friends who received well-deserved recognition.

“The People’s Choice Awards pays tribute to our state’s incomparable cultural community and the passion of its supporters,” said Jim Atkinson, director of programs and services at the ArtPride New Jersey Foundation, the statewide arts service organization that coordinates the annual awards. “All nominees should be very proud of the impact they have on not only their communities, but on their peers.”
