NJSO hosts College Night on Nov 1 at NJPAC
The Star-Ledger previews the NJSO’s first College Night of the 2013–14 season:
After a successful launch last year, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra brings back College Night Nov. 1, offering students free food and a discount ticket to a performance of Romantic works at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
For $10, college students receive a ticket to the 8 p.m. concert — highlighted by Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto — and admission to an all-student post-concert party with light refreshments and live entertainment by other students.
The NJSO will also set aside a block of Tweet Seats for students to post their comments to social media during the performance. The orchestra will provide free round-trip bus transportation from select area colleges.
