NJSO resumes search for President & CEO
NEWARK, NJ (March 27, 2013)—The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra has resumed the search for its new President & CEO. André Gremillet left the Orchestra in September 2012 to become Managing Director of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Susan Stucker, the Orchestra’s longtime Vice President of Operations & General Manager, has served as Interim President & CEO.
The Orchestra is being assisted in its search by one of its corporate partners. Information about the position may be found on the Orchestra’s website here.
In recent months, the NJSO has enjoyed a number of significant successes—the Orchestra received a Getty Education and Community Investment Grant from the League of American Orchestras and the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation to further develop the NJSO Autism Community Initiative; held its first-ever College Night, hosting nearly 200 college students in an inventive concert-and-party format; and launched a greatly expanded and enhanced website. The NJSO’s innovative education and community engagement initiatives continue to bring the power of live musical performance to all corners of the Garden State.
