NEWARK, NJ (November 22, 2016)—The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and New Jersey Performing Arts Center announce an additional performance of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™ in Concert on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 7 pm at NJPAC in Newark. Limited tickets are still available for the previously announced March 11 matinee at 2 pm. The NJSO will perform, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition while hearing the orchestra perform Oscar winner John Williams’ unforgettable score.
CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, a new global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films, earlier this year. The Harry Potter Film Concert that kicked off in June 2016 is another magical experience from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
Tickets for both March 11 performances at NJPAC range in price from $29 to $89 and are available for purchase from the NJSO online at www.njsymphony.org or by phone at 1.800.ALLEGRO (255.3476). The NJSO also performs Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™ in Concert on Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1, 2017, at 8 pm at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Tickets for the March 31 and April 1 performances, presented by Live Nation and Radio City Music Hall, range in price from $49 to $89.50; premium sections are available for $125 and $145.
