Baristakids.com ran a contest for tickets to this performance. The winner shared this nice note about her family's experience on Saturday:

"I just wanted to thank you again for the tickets and the opportunity to take my children to the Symphony. I brought my teenager who is very into metal music, drums and guitar. He thought he would hate it, but he loved every minute and would like to go to more concerts.

I also brought my 3 year old who was never more still and quiet in his life than he was during Peter and the Wolf. I've had to answer many questions about the wolf and the duck for a few days now. My 20 month old just wanted to get down and dance to everything until she almost fell asleep on the floor.

Thanks again for the wonderful opportunity."
