Simone Dinnerstein joins NJSO for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23

NEWARK, NJ—The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra welcomes Simone Dinnerstein back to NJSO stages for performances of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 on a program that also includes the composer’s Symphony No. 40, April 25–28. Music Director Xian Zhang conducts the concerts, which open with Walton’s Suite No. 2 from Façade.

Performances take place on April 25 at 1:30 pm at NJPAC in Newark, April 27 at 8 pm at Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank and April 28 at 3 pm at Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown.

NJSO Accent events include a singalong one hour before the April 25 concert, a Classical Conversation one hour before the April 27 concert and a post-concert talkback with NJSO musicians about the orchestral audition process on April 28.
