Mar 25, 2014

The Star-Ledger praises the “out stunning artistry from the orchestra” at the NJSO’s March 22 performance at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, hailing “one of the finest and most moving performances I have heard [the NJSO] play in recent years.”

Ronni Reich writes:

The orchestra’s masterful, deeply emotive performance culminated in a fiery finale. The musicians were indefatigable and fiercely committed as Schwarz took a swift tempo. They were forceful, but not overbearing, until it grew into a resounding conclusion that called to mind a vast choir joining at the top of their voices in a proud anthem.
