Star-Ledger previews sing-in, Take 6 concert

The Star-Ledger previews the NJSO’s first ever #ChoraleYou, which invites attendees of “A Take 6 Holiday with the NJSO” on December 13 to join fellow audience members and members of the NJSO for a “sing-in” at NJPAC in Newark following the concert:

“The season for singing carols with friends or family is just around the corner - but why stop there? Anyone who likes to raise his or her voice is invited to join the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for a “sing-in” following the ensemble’s holiday concert Dec. 13 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center featuring the vocal sextet Take 6 ... The event is called #ChoraleYou and pairs with NJSO’s program for instrumentalists called #OrchestraYou that debuted last season and will appear again in March. Participation is free with tickets to the NJSO concert, which begins at 8 p.m. and features seasonal favorites inflected with gospel, pop and R&B.”
