The NJSO’s Winter Festival finale featuring the second week of violinist Sarah Chang performing Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite is among The Star-Ledger’s picks for the top five New Jersey shows of the week:
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra closes out its Shakespeare-themed Winter Festival this weekend, featuring three more chances to hear violinist Sarah Chang as the soloist for a new arrangement of Bernstein's "West Side Story" Suite. Music director Jacques Lacombe leads programs that also include music by Elgar and Korngold in Englewood, Newark and New Brunswick.
