Listen to the 2015 NJSO Edward T. Cone Composition Institute concert on demand through WQXR’s online new-music station Q2 Music. The program—recorded in July at the Richardson Auditorium in Princeton—features new works by the four composers of the 2015 NJSO Edward T. Cone Composition Institute, as well as a work from Institute Director Steven Mackey. The broadcast is available to stream here.
The program features Luke Carlson’s The Burnished Tide, Brendan Faegre’s Dirt to Gold, Shuying Li’s Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night and Reinaldo Moya’s Siempre Lunes, Siempre Marzo, as well as Mackey’s Urban Ocean. JoAnn Falletta conducted the concert, recorded live on July 16 at the Richardson Auditorium in Princeton.
