Traffic and Parking Notices for May 15

Sunday, May 15 concert at State Theatre in New Brunswick

Traffic around Rutgers Stadium will be heavier than normal due to the Rutgers University graduation featuring President Obama as the commencement speaker. If you travel through the stadium area, please allow extra time. Congestion is likely before and after the event on Routes 18 and 27, U.S. 1, and Interstate 78. Exit 9 (River Road) on Interstate 287 will be closed from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. on May 15. It is suggested to utilize Exit 8 as an alternative.

Additionally, some parking lots in New Brunswick will be fuller than usual, since graduation attendees have been advised to park in the downtown lots.
