WWFM broadcasts NJSO concerts Aug 14–16

From August 14 to 16, WWFM (89.1 FM) will broadcast select NJSO performances from the 2012–13 season.

Relive the thrill of these exciting concert programs:

• Aug 14 at 12 pm: Jacques Lacombe conducts Tchaikovsky’s The Tempest Fantasy-Overture, Sibelius’  The Tempest  (featuring actors from The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey) and Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony, “Pastoral.”
• Aug 15 at 12 pm: Jacques Lacombe conducts Harbison’s  Remembering Gatsby : Foxtrot for Orchestra, Gershwin’s Variations  on “I Got Rhythm” (featuring pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet) and Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite.
   
• Aug 16 at 12 pm: Jacques Lacombe conducts Gershwin’s  Rhapsody in Blue  (featuring pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet) and Ellington’s Harlem. 

NJSO President & CEO James Roe will chat about the Orchestra with the broadcast hosts.
