WWFM to broadcast Golandsky piano concert on Jan 9

Tune in to WWFM at noon on Fri, Jan 9, for a broadcast of the Golandsky Institute International Piano Festival's Scheide Concerto Evening. The July 17 concert at Princeton University featured the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Orchestra on a program of piano concertos led by conductor Mark Laycock.

The concert broadcast will feature internationally acclaimed Russian-born pianist Ilya Itin performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 and Bach expert Fr. Sean Duggan performing Bach’s Keyboard Concerto. The young artists of the Golandsky Institute join the two soloists for a rarely heard performance of Bach’s Concerto for Four Pianos.

Reviewing the concert in July, Princeton Town Topics praised the program's "journey through the history of the piano concerto."
