Join the New Jersey Symphony and an array of cultural, social, business and civic leaders for an unforgettable evening of fine dining and entertainment as we honor former Governor Thomas H. Kean and his dedication to the performing arts industry in New Jersey. The event will feature a lavish cocktail reception with a few dazzling surprises, a dinner with a private performance featuring members of the New Jersey Symphony and students of the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestra and a silent auction.

This event kickstarted the New Jersey Symphony’s 2024–25 season with a celebration brunch and concert featuring Music Director Xian Zhang and world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming inspired by her 2023 GRAMMY Award-winning album, Voice of Nature: the Anthropocene.

This event, featuring world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, highlighted the impact of human health in the arts and how the transformative power of music can impact people’s health. It featured a panel discussion featuring Fleming, Dr. Tasha Golden, Aly Maier Lokuta and Dr. Brian Benson before concluding with an autograph session, all in promotion of her book, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness.

This summer fundraiser, hosted by the Monmouth County Council of the New Jersey Symphony, raised funds in support of the Symphony’s Education and Community Programs in an event that featured a cocktail reception and a performance by the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players.

This event helped raise awareness of the New Jersey Symphony’s artistic, education and community programs across New Jersey, including in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, with a chef-curated cocktail reception and a special performance by Grammy Award-winning ensemble Time For Three.

This Bridgerton-inspired gala celebrated the New Jersey Symphony’s efforts to bring great music and programs to current and future generations across New Jersey with a reception and dinner, a performance by members of the New Jersey Symphony and the Youth Orchestra’s Curtland E. Fields Ensemble and a silent auction.

This event marked the festive celebration of the Year of the Dragon with the return of the pre-concert Cultural Exchange Festival, the celebration concert featuring Yue Bao, Tony Siqi Yun, the Peking University Alumni Chorus and Edison Chinese School Lion Dance Team and a dessert after-party featuring electronic musician dolltr!ck.

The opening event of the New Jersey Symphony’s 101st season celebrated the pathbreaking art of Black composers past and present. Highlights from the event included a dinner prelude, the season opening concert featuring Robert Spano, Aaron Diehl and the Aaron Diehl Trio and an after-party.

This event marked the culmination of the New Jersey Symphony's centennial season with a pre-concert cocktail reception, the season finale concert featuring Joshua Bell and the world premiere of Daniel Bernard Roumain's Farah (Joy) for Voice and Orchestra and a post-concert gala dinner and Young Professionals after-party.

This event marked the festive celebration of the Year of the Rabbit with a pre-concert reception and dinner, a performance from Music Director Xian Zhang, Assistant Conductor Tong Chen and the New Jersey Symphony featuring multiple guest performers and a dessert party.

This pinnacle event celebrated 100 years of musical excellence, innovation and inclusion from the New Jersey Symphony. Highlights from the event included a pre-concert cocktail reception and dinner curated by celebrity Chef David Burke, a performance featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma and New Jersey Ballet and a dessert after-party.

This event marked the first in-person Spring into Music Gala & Auction in three years, and celebrated the present and future of the Symphony with a performance by members of the New Jersey Symphony and the Youth Orchestra and a silent auction.

This event was to culminate the festive celebration of the Year of the Tiger with an in-person performance and fundraiser. Unfortunately, the in-person event was canceled as a result of a snowstorm that weekend.

This event celebrated the New Jersey Symphony's return to the concert hall and the opening of our 99th season, with a pre-concert gala, new music from Michael Abels and Daniel Bernard Roumain and a take-home dinner.

This virtual event celebrated the 30th anniversary of the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestras with a VIP Pre-Show Party, gala concert program and online auction. 

Our 2021 Lunar New Year Celebration was enjoyed across the globe with a week-long virtual festival and concert. Celebration sponsors and supporters enjoyed a VIP event featuring an exclusive performance by acclaimed guitarist Xuefei Yang and interviews with Xian Zhang, Bart Feller and Na-Young Baek.

The New Jersey Symphony held its virtual Spring into Music Gala & Online Auction this year, and we were delighted to keep our gala tradition going. Even though we could not be together in person for this event, we were still connected through the power of music. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year’s gala. Your generosity raised significant funds for our artistic, education and community engagement programs!   

More than 1,500 concertgoers and 200 dinner guests celebrated the Year of the Rat, as the New Jersey Symphony and Music Director Xian Zhang came together for the Orchestra’s Lunar New Year Celebration Gala. Attendees enjoyed a pre-concert festival with crafters, a variety of musical performances and cultural festivities. It was an unforgettable night of entertainment and fine dining!  

The New Jersey Symphony held its annual Opening Night Celebration and honored an outstanding community member—Curtland E. Fields, President & CEO of the Turrell Fund and New Jersey Symphony Trustee. More than 300 guests enjoyed the celebration, with an incredible season-opening performance of Holst’s The Planets, paired with jaw-dropping NASA astronomical visuals in HD, along with symphonic classics conducted by Music Director Xian Zhang.
